THE
CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
For those who lived with a determined and
dedicated faith in Christ.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure
is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I
have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

These are words of determined faith.
Jesus asked the question in Luke 18:7-8 And shall not
God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long
with them?
I tell
you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh,
shall he find faith on the earth?
Likewise we have
Abraham as an example when it comes to our faith and righteousness.
Rom 4:16-18 Therefore it is of
faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure
to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which
is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
(As it is written, I have made thee a
father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who
quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of
many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
Even though such a promise seemed utterly impossible! Abraham’s faith
did not weaken or wavered …. his faith grew stronger … even though he was too
old to be a father (100 years old). Because of faith … it was credited to him
as righteousness.
We were made righteous by Grace through faith and we will receive a crown of
righteousness for living our life in determined and dedicated faith.
