Building on God’s foundation
I Cor. 3:11-15
Introduction: If this building were not built on a good foundation the walls, roof, floor and every other part of it would eventually fall, we know that. If this building were built on a good foundation but the wrong materials were used in the rest of it the building would still fall and the only thing left would be the good foundation. Conclusion: What’s your life built upon this morning? It’s not a matter of are you building a life, but more realistically how are you building a life. Is it base on personal desire, wealth, prosperity, power or pleasure? Is it based on the direction and will of God for you life? Will our musicians come and prepare a hymn of invitation. While they come will you bow your head? If you know without question that Jesus is you personal savior this morning will you raise your hand? If you couldn’t raise your hand then you need to establish a foundation for your life this morning. If you did raise your hand, you need to determine what you’re building on that foundation, the type of material you’re using, the end goals you have in mind. If you Jesus as your personal savior will come and establish this foundation, if the Lord’s dealing with you to change the things your life is being built with you need to come as well. As we sing will you come.
